As the venue for the archery qualifying rounds, the green surroundings of the Am Hallo sports park really hit the mark. Located five kilometers north-east of Essen's city centre, the "Am Hallo" athletics stadium was completed in 2001 and offers a comprehensive range of facilities for sports enthusiasts, including a six-lane 400-meter track and an eight-lane 100-meter track, athletics facilities and a pitch for American football. With seating and standing room for 3,800 spectators, the stadium is the regular home of the Essen athletics team LT Stoppenberg e.V. and the American football team Assindia Cardinals. However, bows and arrows are nothing new here, as the European Archery Championships were held here in 2024.
